We are north of Williamsburg and from just the little I have seen of the signs and a tourist brochure at check-in, there is a ton of stuff to see and do in the area. The scenery is great, although it is mostly heavily wooded but occasionally one catches glimpses of the sound and water. This is the most we have ever paid for an RV park; in fact, it is more than we have ever even paid for a mortgage but I guess that's the price to play in this neck of the woods. That does mean however, we will make nothing on this assignment and probably have to actually draw out of our savings to be here. That does not sit well.

We Have Arrived!
About noontime we rolled across the very long James River Bridge into Newport News, VA and met with our gas company contact. After a short introductory meet and greet and picking up our PDA devices to charge up for tomorrow's work, we were on our way north another 30 miles to a campground we thought might work out. It did! We are way at the back with woods to our rear, affording Marc a close-by parking space for the truck and we have a very generous gravel space which should be quiet. Just like we like it.
